Of tapering cylindrical form, on molded foot, with tubular scroll handle, the hinged domed cover with scroll thumbpiece, the front engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest within an acanthus and rocaille scroll cartouche, the cover engraved circa 1780 with another coat-of-arms and crest, engraved under base with initials H over IA, marked on body and cover--6 3/4in. (17.2cm.) high
