Of circular form, the hinged cover applied with an oakleaf rim, the center set with a medallion depicting William IV in profile, signed CHANTREY D., W. WYON S., MINT within an applied laurel and tied ribbon wreath and surmounted by a crown, the interior fitted with a cut-glass inkpot with stiff foliate collar and sliding rosette cover, enclosed by three pen holders, the base engraved EAFs, marked on side and cover--6¾in. (17.2cm.) diam.
