A 20th Century Pond Model Of The Yacht FALCON

The hull of the model is built up in plank on frame construction with mahogany planking over mahogany frames and stringers. The topsides of the model are finished bright and the bottom is painted red to the waterline. The decks are of mahogany veneer, with the planking drawn in India ink. The model is fitted with numerous brass fittings including: stem fitting, turnbuckles, mast step, quadrant, rudder, and other fittings. The model is rigged with a mahogany mast with brass fittings and is rigged with a mainsail and jib which are of cotton. The name of the yacht is lettered on the deck hatch.
