1901-1906, most pieces with blue printed crown, Mason's, and Patent Ironstone China banner mark and with impressed letters BSA, some also impressed ASHWORTH REAL IRONSTONE CHINA or with kiln dates of 11/01 or 8.06
Printed in blue, enriched in colors and gilt with a phoenix perched among branches of flowering peony and chrysanthemum, the border with sprays of similar flowers, orange lustre line rims in imitation of gilt, comprising:
A soup-tureen and cover, 11½in. (29.2cm.) wide overall
Two sauce-tureens, covers and stands, 6in. (15.2cm.) wide, the stands
An oblong octagonal well-and-tree platter, 20in. (50.8cm.) long
Eleven graduated oblong octagonal platters, 17¼in. (43.5) long, the largest, 97/8in. (25.1cm.) long, the smallest
Two square vegetable dishes and covers and two covers, 9in. (22.9cm.) square
A square salad bowl, 9in. (22.9cm.) square
A shaped oval open vegetable dish, 95/8in. (24.4cm.) long
Five graduated oval open vegetable dishes, 8½in. (21.7cm.) long
