Joseph Green & Co. are listed in the London directories at the 10 & 11 St Paul's Church Yard address between 1834 and 1842. However, as of 1841, & Sons was added to the firm's name. Thus a date of 1834-1840 can be confirmed for the present service.

See Geoffrey A. Godden, An Illustrated Guide to Mason's Patent Ironstone China, London, 1971, colour plate IV for a vase, eight inches high, decorated in the same pattern, and dated 1815-1825.
