The tall slender cup with double-scroll handle with gilt shell thumb-piece, painted in Purpurmalerei with two finely dressed ladies by an urn in a wooded landscape, the domed cover with gilt cone finial and two vignettes with ladies in wooded landscapes, one seated, the other standing wearing a mask, the saucer with busts supported by foliage scrolls, shells and starbursts and foliage scrolls and husks about a raised pierced gallery moulded with strapwork, the underside with scattered Holzschnitt Blumen flowerheads and sprays, gilt line rims (slight wear to gilt rims) (2)
