Inlaid overall with brass banding, the rectangular three-quarter galleried breche d'alep marble top above three panelled short drawers, the cylinder top with brass handle flanked by brass inlay, enclosing a shelf above two panelled short drawers and three further short drawers, with tooled and gilt leather writing-slide, the lower section with a central kneehole drawer flanked by two further drawers, on square tapering legs, with label to the reverse of the middle drawer, and the back, 'LE GARDE MEUBLE PUBLIC 18 RUE ST AUGUSTIN 26818 BEDEL AND CIE', with handwritten label 'Geneve', and with indistinct pencil inscription
