Inlaid overall with ribbon-tied floral marquetry on a sycamore and fruitwood ground and within an interlaced Greek-key, amaranth and boxwood-lined border, the eared waved rectangular brass-bound sliding top with fitted arched superstructure, the tambour-slide enclosing two white-metal inkwells and a pen-tray, above a frieze drawer with green leather-lined writing-surface, on cabriole legs joined by a rectangular undertier and on tapering canted feet with foliate sabots, minor restorations to veneer
