The removable rectangular black leather-lined top with four removable turned fluted candlesticks, the reverse lined with green baize concealing an ebony and ivory backgammon board flanked by shallow panelled wells above three panelled simulated drawers, the sides each with two short frieze drawers, on square tapering panelled legs with pinched necks and brass caps and castors, stamped twice 'J. L. Cosson' with inventory number in ink to the underside 23, lacking one brass cap; and two leather shakers, five die and playing counters
