AN ANGLO-INDIAN POLYCHROME-DECORATED CARVED IVORY FOOTSTOOL
Late 18th/early 19th Century
The rectangular inset split-caned seat over-upholstered in blue velvet faded to brown, with a purple and gold silk border, the frame carved with leaves above a frieze with further twisting-leaf decoration, on square tapering sabre legs with paw feet, inscribed in black paint on the amaranth seat-rail F.W.T.7, some losses and overall cracking
