Late 18th/early 19th Century
The rectangular inset split-caned seat over-upholstered in blue velvet faded to brown, with a purple and gold silk border, the frame and frieze decorated with an alternating foliage and flowerhead pattern, on reeded square tapering legs with lion-paw feet, the amaranth seat-rail inscribed in white paint 2.F.T.W, some losses and overall cracking
