A rare book which is an entirely native production, following the style of previous British publications. The text and photographs give the first detailed account of the castes and tribes of Marwar, the most ancient portion of Rajasthan. Although described as Vol. II, thus far, no copies of Volume I have come to light, and it seems likely that this was the only volume published.
