The design for this chair was first shown in Cabinetmakers' Guild Furniture Exhibition in 1945.
An example of this chair is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (inv. no. CIRC.452:1, 2-1969) and the Museum of Modern Art, New York (inv. no. 214.1950.2a-b).
