Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale

The Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale includes a group of pictures from the Petworth House, one of the most celebrated collections in England as well as a broad selection of works across all schools of European painting from the first half of the 15th century to the mid-19th century, with estimates ranging from £10,000–100,000. The sale will offer a particularly strong group of 18th century pictures, including François Lemoyne’s beautifully preserved La fécondité, an important early landscape by Thomas Jones, and an exceptionally fine pair of Roman views by Hendrick Frans van Lint.
