Christie's presents Luminous Path, a private selling fundraising exhibition taking place in New York from 18 - 30 June, and its third partnership with Civil Art. Supported by Christie's social responsibility committee, Luminous Path is a philanthropic project that celebrates multi-generational artists considering light as both a material condition and a conceptual device. More than a visual phenomenon, light emerges here as a structuring principle that connects artists working across varying media. Luminous Path advances shared goals of cultural engagement, curatorial innovation, and community impact. Together, Christie's and Civil Art create a platform where art can act as a catalyst for cultural empowerment, community building, and cross-sector collaboration. Proceeds of this exhibition will go towards the participating artists, Civil Art, and Apex for Youth.
The exhibition is curated by Aleesa Pitchamarn Alexander, Kathy Huang, Peter Kahng, Ho Jae Kim, and Carla Shen.
