Founded in Switzerland in 1755 by Jean-Marc Vacheron, Vacheron Constantin is the oldest watch manufacturer in continuous production. Watch collectors love the house for its complicated timepieces, workmanship and rich horological heritage.

In 2011, Christie’s sold an exceptional Vacheron Constantin chronograph clockwatch made for James Ward Packard in 1918 for $1.7 million, the highest Vacheron Constantin watch price achieved at Christie’s. Competition at auction for exquisite Vacheron Constantin tourbillon watches is also intense.
