UNSIGNED, CASE STAMPED RT AND NUMBERED 7104 AND 355, CIRCA 1820

The present watch is distinguished by its unusual carillon repeating mechanism. More complicated than the better known quarter or minute repeating function, it is more commonly found in clock watches. It features three or four gongs instead of only two. The quarter hours of the present watch are struck on two different hammers than the hours.
