In the rococo taste, of shaped-oval form elaborately cast and chased with scrolls, foliage and rocaille and with tied border enclosing panels of matting, rising at the back to an openwork canopy of foliate scrolls and trelliswork, with two urn-form part-fluted inkpots, each with two scroll handles and applied with foliage, with similarly decorated hinged covers and clear glass liners - 35.2 cm long
