Rectangular box with rounded corners, the cover and sides inlaid with 139 lozenge-shaped hardstone plaques and precious stones in the corners, with engraved numbers in the gold mounts, the base covered with shagreen, the interior of the cover lined with pink silk forming a hinged secret compartment with a purse, the base with a cream-coloured velvet cushion; together with the pink silk bound matching handwritten booklet (140 x 54 mm.) with reference to the numbered stones
