Atttributed to Tasnière on spine label, and also in a recent note stating that the design was for a building at Castellamonte. Georges Tasnière, engraver, was born at Besanon in about 1632, and died at Turin in 1704. Benezit states that he worked in Turin and Vienna, and is particularly associated with hunting engravings after Jan Miel. His son Giuseppe Bartolomeo Tasnière (1675-1752) was likewise active as an engraver.
