TWO BYZANTINE BRONZE POLYCANDELA

One composed of two openwork concentric circles, framing six rings for insertion of the glass lamps, with three loops along the inner circle for attachment of chains, each composed of elongated diamond-shaped bars terminating in loops which join to a suspension hook; and one with an openwork disk fringed with small rings and projecting beads, with six rings for the lamps alternating with arrows, the inmost circle with an openwork pattern of three heart-shaped designs joined by a disk in the center, with three loops on the outer circle for attachment of the chains, suspended from a domed element joined to a hook
