Thinly potted with shallow rounded sides rising to a flared rim, the interior finely painted with a woman and three boys studying books amidst furniture and scholars' articles, within an hexafoil panel reserved on a pale blue diaper ground below fruit cartouches alternating with dragon roundels reserved on a ground of pink cell diaper on the rim; together with a copper-red saucer dish, Yongzheng six-character mark and of the period, all but the rim covered with a glaze of liver-red tone
