A LARGE LONGQUAN CELADON BARBED DISH
14th/15th Century
Heavily potted, the shallow flared sides molded on the interior and exterior as petals rising to the correspondingly petal-barbed, everted rim with raised outer edge, covered overall with a glaze of sea-green tone thinning to a lighter tone on the raised areas and continuing over the tapered foot to cover all but an unglazed ring on the base burnt orange in the firing
