The rectangular body decorated to each side with a taotie mask divided by raised flanges at the corners and to the mid-section below a border of chilong, supported on four shaped-legs formed as archaistic dragons attached to the flat base decorated with stylized floral scrolls, the domed cover with further stylised chilong below a bulbous gilt finial reticulated with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl 13 1/2 in. (34.3 cm.) high
