Album containing 104 gelatin silver prints including two over-painted portraits of HRH the Prince of wales and HH the Maharaja of Holkar, 9 x 7 in., the remainder approx. 4 x 6 in. to 8 x 11½ in., three with photographer's credit in the negatives, four signed in pencil on recto, variously mounted within ruled silver borders, titled in ink on mounts, photographer's credit inscribed in ink on front free end, diced brown morocco (disbound), titled, dated and with photographer's credit in gilt on front cover, oblong 4to.

A detailed record of the Prince of Wales's visit to Indore in February 1922 including portraits of the Maharaja Holkar and other ruling princes awaiting the arrival of the prince, introductions and meetings between HRH and HH Maharaja of Indore, a carriage procession, HRH inspecting the guard of honour (illus.), a portrait of HRH saluting from the back of an open motor car, the arrival of the Agent to the Governor General of Central India to Daly College, the state banquet and firework displays, a group portrait taken just before the departure of HRH from Indore and one of HH the Maharaja & Colonel Luard; views of the Law Courts, Krishnapura Bridge, the Chattries, Shiva Vilas Palace, Manikbagh Palace, Bosanquet Market, Old Palace, Daly College, the Indore Residency, the Residency gardens and Lalbagh Palace.
