The tiles Minton, circa 1860
Decorated overall to simulate bamboo, with a superstructure inset with tiles depicting water foul, herons, ducks and swans, flanked by panels painted with leaf-sprays, above a rounded rectangular white and grey-veined marble top, above five short drawers surrounding a kneehole, on ring-turned tapering legs and ceramic castors, the castors stamped 'COPE & COLLISON PATENT'
