The arched toprail with central rocaille motif and trailing flowers and foliage above the padded back, sides, waved seat and bolster covered in polychrome and gold-coloured floral cotton, the downswept arms headed by trailing flowers above the seat-rail carved conformingly to the toprail and on cabriole legs headed by a foliate cartouche with flowers terminating a foliate scrolling feet, one back leg later, one back upright restored and three seat-rails with restorations, possibly originally forming part of a duchesse brisée
