Enamelled around the oviform body with a beautiful lady performing a dance to music played by her female companions in the shade of a tree in a fenced garden, the reverse with other ladies variously carrying books and scrolls, the base and waisted neck enamelled with stylised lotus on a rich ruby ground, the underside and interior turquoise-glazed enamel flakes retouched around footrim--12 1/2in. (31.8cm.) high
