A RARE GREEN-GLAZED BLACK-GROUND PEAR-SHAPED VASE
QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

The rounded body rising to a waisted neck and trumpet mouth, supported on a slightly splayed foot, finely painted in black outline under a translucent vibrant green glaze with a dense lotus scroll, each stylized bloom supporing a cluster of three peaches, all above a band of dotted rectangular foliate lappets around the foot, the neck encircled with overlapping ruyi-lappets centred with demi-florettes (small rim chip restored)--11 3/4in. (30cm.) high
