An Arita blue and white deep dish painted in the Chinese style with pheasants among pomegranates issuing from rockwork within borders of butterflies among trailing vines and dragons among cloud scrolls and scrolling peonies -- 16in. (40.5cms) diam, circa 1700, (firing and hairline crack to foot).
