A Chinese cloisonne and gilt-bronze tripod cylindrical censer
with upright handles, decorated with a continuous band of stylised taotie masks between lappet and ruyi-head borders above panels of cloud-scrolls and scrolling motifs and two further ruyi-head bands, all on a turquoise ground, fitted pierced wood cover -- 9¾.in (24.8cm) high, incised Qianlong four-character mark within a gilt reserve and of the period.
