A Chinese silver rectangular box and hinged cover decorated in high relief with confronting dragons, shrews amongst fruiting vines, deer beneath pine, and long tailed birds amongst flowers and scrolling foliage within cartouche shaped panels -- 5in. (12.8cm) wide, the base inscribed and dated 1905.
