A maiolica circular bowl and cover
probably North Italian, painted in shades of puce, ochre, blue and green with flower sprays, the domed cover with flower finial and mottled sponge decorated band to the rim, the inverted bowl rim decorated similarly, above three moulded masks, the whole on tripod fish legs and stpped circular base with mottled band, (some chips) -- 32cm. high
