Provenance:
Lt. Col. Charles Wild, The Tile House, Denham, Bucks. Painted by his wife, Nellie (nee. Alderson) who was a cousin of Georgia, Third Marchioness of Salisbury and a keen amateur painter. She painted a number of small pieces of furniture for her sitting room and later painted the staircase at The Tower House
