This attractive wall clock draws direct inspiration from the iconic Octa Réserve de Marche by F.P. Journe, faithfully echoing the distinctive aesthetic codes of the celebrated wristwatch. The clock is beautifully complemented by a warm salmon-colored dial, a signature tone closely linked to the brand's early creations and is housed in a 41 cm. stainless steel case that has been delicately polished to enhance its presence.

The clock's reverse features an integrated electronic perpetual calendar display to synchronize the date and two battery compartments, one that powers the hours and minutes and the other one powers the small seconds, combining functionality and elegant design. The piece is powered by quartz but still has a strong connection to the visual identity of classic high watchmaking.

The present example was manufactured by Ruegg SA for F.P. Journe. Founded in 1957, Ruegg is a respected specialist in the production and reproduction of clocks for prestigious brands. Pieces such as the present example were typically intended for display in retailers’ boutiques and were not originally offered for public sale, further enhancing their rarity.

Combining decorative appeal with everyday functionality, it serves as both an elegant interior object and a tribute to one of the most influential independent watchmakers of modern times.
