A set of eight blue, white and famille rose octagonal plates painted and gilt with figures fishing before retreats in tree srewn river landscapes within borders of scattered flowersprays and geometric cartouches -- 8¾in. (22cm) diam, (minor chips and damages); and a further pair of octagonal dishes with peonies issuing from rockwork in fenced gardens -- 8 7/8in. (22.5cm) diam, (one cracked), all 18th century.
