The rectangular box with embossed band of foliate scrolls and strap hinges and lined with chamois, opening to reveal a faceted ruby glass inkwell and sander both with engine-turned covers, two ruby glass ink bottles with similar covers, a sealing wax holder, small hand seal, and a small steel corkscrew, apparently unmarked
3 ¾ in. (9.5 cm.) long, the box; 1 5⁄8 in. (4.1 cm.) diameter, the sander and inkwell
