Cylindrical, with leafy stalk-form handle applied with flowerheads, the sides nielloed with an Inuit figure holding a fish, houses, and pine trees in a Siberian landscape, the underside nielloed with a coat-of-arms of Denis Ivanovich Chicherin, the end of the handle further engraved with his Cyrillic cypher ‘DCh’, interior gilt, apparently unmarked
