An almost identical silk sash attributed to Kashan, circa 1736, was given to the National Museum in Krakow by the Polish art critic Feliks Jasienski (1861-1929) (Beata Bidronska Slota, 'Persian Sashes Preserved in Polish Collections', Carpets and Textiles of the Iranian World 1400-1700, Oxford, 2003, p. 179). Another similar sash is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (acc. no. 11.58.1).
