designed by Christopher Heal for Heal & Sons, comprising: a chest, the shaped rectangular top above a pair of concave cupboard doors and three long drawers, on stepped platform -- 35½in. (90cm.) wide; a wardrobe, with a pair of concave-shaped long cupboard doors enclosing hanging space, on stepped base -- 42in. (107cm.) wide; a bedside cupboard, the rectangular top above open recess and panelled cupboard door, on stepped plinth base -- 15½in. (39cm.) wide; a dressing table, with long central mirror plate flanked by rectangular marginal plates, above shaped top with frieze drawer flanked by two banks of four graduated drawers, on stepped plinth base -- 51in.
