Il est représenté assis sur une base quadrangulaire, vêtue d'un dhoti ceinturé à la taille et d'une longue robe monastique recouvrant ses deux épaules formant un élégant drapé, sa poitrine est partiellement découverte. Il tient dans sa main droite un rouleau et dans sa main gauche un bol à aumônes. Les traits de son visage sont individualisés. Une inscription en tibétain est incisée au dos de la base ; scellée.
