The lobed dished papier-maché tray japanned in black, gold, green and red with Chinoiserie scenes depicting lakeside vistas with pavilions, terraces, bridges and gardens, set within a pierced heart-shaped brass gallery above a Chinese blind-fret frieze, on a tree-trunk support entwined with two dragons on a rockwork base, inscribed 432 in chalk, with printed and inscribed Ann and Gordon Getty Collection inventory label
