Produced by the Wurlitzer Company from 1946-1947, model 1015, known as The Bubbler was designed by chief designer Paul Fuller.

According to Rodgers: "I bought this from a really cool quirky antique store. I bought that in the 70s. This was in my apartment in New York where I did Madonna, and Bowie, I mean that’s like after we made it...So I’ve had that since 1978 or 1979." And it played an integral part in laying the foundation for creating a nostalgia for dance music that Nile has said led to the concepts for David Bowie's Let's Dance album.
