The discs, which are exactly 15½in. (39.3cm.) have distinctive projections reinforced by a depresion on the trailing side. The drive periphery drive holes are reinforced by a pressed continuous ridge with further radial ridges between each hole. The box is thus clearly a Mira, made by Mermod Frères and has a typical patent plate with dates to April 1905.
