with leather storm cover and lined in blue plush and leather, containing an engine-turned part dressing table set engraved with monograms and coronets on yellow-metal cartouches, comprising: nine toilet jars and bottles, a beaker and a double-ended medicine spoon, with a similarly-carved ivory-backed hairbrush and a similarly-engraved ivory-backed clothes brush, the dressing case with jewellery drawer and inlaid with a monogram with coronet above, C.& C. Asprey, London 1877, the medicine spoon George Adams, also London 1877, the interior of the lid gilt "Asprey. Manufacturer to Her Majesty. 166. Bond Street. W." - length of dressing case 15in.
