of shaped circular form, on grotesque mask and stylised paw feet and with a punch-beaded shaped rim, the body decorated with a broad frieze of flowers and foliage and with a vacant cartouche, with matching apostle sifting spoon, in a plush and satin-lined fitted case, William Hutton & Sons Ltd., London 1894, retailed by Carrington & Co. - diameter of sugar basin 5in. (12.75cm.); and a pair of late Victorian shell butter dishes on ball feet, with two matching butter knives, also cased, Sheffield 1899. (6)
