AN UNUSUAL JUN-STYLE BOWL
17TH CENTURY
The deep, rounded sides are covered inside and out with a glassy Jun-style glaze of finely streaked milky-blue color draining to a mushroom tone below the silver-mounted rim and pooling on the ring foot that has been covered with a brown dressing. The inside of the foot and the base have been similarly glazed around a small brown-dressed area in the center.
