Rare abridged German translation of the Hortus Sanitatis. With 400 woodcuts illustrating sections on animals, fish, birds, and precious stones. The first German edition, also abridged, was published by Johann Prüss in 1509. Nissen ZBI 4727.
Folio (303 x 203mm). 4 woodcuts on title, 396 further woodcuts in the text. Later vellum.
