Avec son visage aux traits marqués, ses cheveux et sa barbe sculptés avec vigueur, notre buste s'inscrit dans la tradition des sculpteurs de la fin du baroque travaillant à Rome à la fin du XVIIe siècle tels que Pierre Legros (1666-1719), Camillo Rusconi (1658-1728) et Pierre-Etienne Monnot (1657-1733).

With its strong facial features and vigorously carved hair and beard, the present bust follows in the tradition of late baroque sculptors working in Rome at the end of the 17th century including Pierre Legros, (1666-1719), Camillo Rusconi (1658-1728) and Pierre-Etienne Monnot (1657-1733).
