Caymus prides itself on producing wines that are approachable both in youth and in maturity. Caymus produces exclusively Cabernet Sauvignon, the “Napa Valley” and the “Special Selection” both of which have unique aromas and flavors due to the special viticulutral techniques Caymus Vineyards employs, leaving the fruit to “hang” on the vine in order to develop suppleness, increase color, and mature tannins. The “Special Selection” is comprised of only the finest barrels of the vintage, and is not produced in inclement years.
